The first place where this performance took place was the main cemetery in the city of Braunschweig in 2007, but on an attempt to show the multiple ways to describe this simple action and explore its possible meanings, Mayorga buried more than fourteen shovels in different contexts; like a swamp in Hamburg or right near a Bus-stop. After all these experiments Mayorga concluded that a cemetery was the most meaningful place to bury a brand new shovel.   

Three shovels were buried on the small graveyard from the video above. The towns name is Stuhr-Heiligenrode, Germany.
